Food & Beverage: Church Lounge:
New York might have made the classic hotel bar famous, but it's Tribeca Grand's Church Lounge that revolutionized it. Dead center in the hotel's open triangular atrium, the Church Lounge offers an intimate aside for the day and evening and turns into a key destination at night. The classic American menu offers everything from light appetizers to three-course meals, designed exclusively by the Tribeca Grand chefs. And drink-wise, the Church lounge offers a wealth of signature house cocktails—something for every sincere drinker—including the Tartini, the Grand Margarita, and the Perfect Ten along with specialty martinis created specially for the bar.
On Sundays, from 10am to 3pm, the lounge hosts the leisurely Grand Sunday Brunch. The gourmet buffet offers a variety of hot and cold selections for breakfast and lunch, including omelets and waffles made to order, oysters on the half shell, jumbo shrimp cocktail, quiche selection, fresh salads, antipasti, breads and pastries, cheese and seasonal fruits, and homemade desserts. There are also complimentary children's films running throughout the day for kids in the Grand Screening Room.
Area Information: On a prime cobblestone corner, the Tribeca Grand crowns one of the most exclusive and eclectic neighborhoods in all of New York City. Two blocks below Canal Street, and bordered by Church Street, Walker Street, and Sixth Avenue, the hotel is the cross-point for an endless array of fashion, leisure, and commerce—the chicest downtown restaurants, which include Nobu, Bouley, and Chanterelle, antique stores, designer boutiques, furniture showrooms, art galleries, and dozens of nightlife locales.
