Area Information: Hotel Ramenas is located in the hip and trendy Haarlemmerdijk, an upcoming area for small bars, restaurants and shopping. The surrounding neighbourhood, known as the Jordaan, is one of the most picturesque quarters of Amsterdam.
The Jordaan is home to many art galleries, particularly for modern art. The neighbourhood is also dotted with speciality shops and restaurants, and markets are held regularly at Noordermarkt, the Westerstraat and Lindengracht.
