Apartamentos Mur-Mar is located right on Las Ramblas in the hub the cosmopolitan Gothic Quarter of Barcelona, a 15 minute walk from Plaça Catalunya and close to many of the cities major attractions.

The apartments area a great option for those wishing to stay in comfortable yet more private and independent accommodation.

Many of the apartments have views onto Las Ramblas and the attic apartments have lovely sun terraces where you can enjoy a relaxing evening after a day in the city.

Hotel Information: Apartamentos Mur-Mar is located on Las Ramblas between the metro stations of Liceu and Drassanes (L-3 Green line). It will take you a 15 minutes walk along the Ramblas to Plaça Catalunya.

Room Information: The apartments consist of a kitchen, living/dining area, bedroom and bathroom and are well equipped and cleaned daily.

Most of the apartments are exterior-facing and have either a balcony or terrace looking over the street C/Escudellers or Las Ramblas.

There are 3 attic apartments, one with 2 Double rooms and two with 1 Double and 1 Single, they have big terraces with outstanding views over Barcelona.

Some apartments can be triples or quadruples by adding extra beds in the living room.

On the lower floors there are other apartments (interior - no view) that can sleep up to 5.

Food & Beverage: All the apartments are equipped with a kitchen for those who wish to self-cater.

The restaurant is situated beside Apartamentos Mur Mar, in Las Ramblas and has offered both local and international cusine since 1928.

Area Information: Las Ramblas is a 1.2km long avenue that winds its way down from Plaça Catalunya to Port Vell (close to the cruise port terminal).

To your left you have El Raval and on the right the Gothic Quarter.

Las Ramblas is primarily pedestrianised and the attractions along Las Ramblas includes live performances, human statue art, artists, as well as tourist attractions, museums, restaurants and shops.

Attractions such as the Gaudí's buildings, La Sagrada Família, the beach and Parc Güell are also accessible easily by public transport or you can opt for one of the many tourist buses which offer a convenient easy way of getting to know Barcelona.

Travel Information: From Barcelona Airport (El Prat):

By Taxi: takes about 25 minutes and costs approximately EUR 25

By Bus: the "Aerobus" departs every 12 minutes and leaves you right in Plaza Catalunya. The cost is EUR 3.75 and takes 30 minutes.

By Train: You can take a train to Estacion Sants and from there take the Metro: L-3 (the green line) either the Liceo or Drassanas stations.

If you fly to Girona Airport there is a direct bus link from the airport to Barcelona's 'Estacion Nord' bus station.
