Make sure that the taxi is an official one (yellow or white one).

By Train
From the airport take the train "Leonardo Da Vinci Express". it's takes only 30 minutes to get into Rome. The ticket costs EURO 8.00 (approx. 8.00$ US) and can be purchased at automatic vending machines or news stands and at train ticket counters.
