This small, cosy hotel is situated in the historical region of Suburra, close to Termini Station and the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore, and a short stroll from the Colosseum.

The hotel is located in the heart of the old part of Rome, in the old Suburra part of the interesting and characteristic Monti district. The whole area surrounding the hotel is a testament to 2500 years of history, with various handicraft shops, intimate pubs, restaurants, small and elegant boutiques and interesting art galleries.

Area Information: All the main historic and tourist attractions are easily reached either on foot or by Metro (which is just 100 metres away). Within a 1 km radius of the hotel you will find the Colosseum, Imperial Forum, Campidoglio and Capitoline Museums, Domus Aurea and many important churches including the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore and the Basilica of San Pietro in Vincoli.

Slightly further away, but easily reached by public transport are the Trevi Fountain, Pantheon and the Spanish Steps. The characteristic Trastevere district is 4 km away and the EUR business and exhibition area is only 9 km from the hotel.

Travel Information: By Car
From the North:
- Leave the A1 Milano-Roma motorway at the Roma Nord exit.
- Continue on the GRA (Rome ring road) until you reach the Settebagni exit.
- Exit here and continue along Via Salaria towards Roma Centro, following the signs towards Stazione Termini/S. Maria Maggiore.
- Once you reach Termini station continue onto Via Cavour, then Via dei Serpenti.
- Turn into Via Leonina, then Via Urbana.
- The hotel is located just off this road.

From the South:
- Leave the A1 Napoli-Roma motorway at the Roma Est exit.
- Take the Tangenziale Est ring road, leaving at the S. Giovanni/S. Lorenzo exit.
- Continue along Via Scalo S. Lorenzo, then onto to Porta Maggiore.
- From there take Via Santa Croce in Gerusalemme, Piazza Vittorio, then S. Maria Maggiore.

By Train:
From Termini main train station you can either walk (using the above directions) or take Metro line B towards Laurentina. Get out at Cavour (one stop) and cross Via Cavour. Join Via Urbana and continue for another 40 metres towards the right until you reach the hotel.

By Plane:
From Rome Fiumicino Airport (32 km):
You could take a taxi which takes 45 minutes (depending on traffic). Alternatively take the non-stop Leonardo Express train from the airport to Termini train station. This runs every 30 minutes from 06:37 to 23:37 and takes about 40 minutes.

From Rome Ciampino Airport (20 km):
A taxi would take about 40 minutes to reach the hotel. Alternatively you can take the Terravision shuttle bus straight to Termini station, or the Cotral bus (running every 30 minutes from 05:30 to 23:00) to Anagnina Metro station. From there you can take Metro line A to Termini station. Whilst taking slightly longer, this is the cheapest option.
