The Alimandi family has been running the hotel business for two generations. Starting as a pension during the 60s, now the structure is a very comfortable 3 star hotel. The most important attraction is its location, just in front of the Vatican Museum and the Sistine Chapel entrance. Now you can enjoy a great buffet breakfast all year round with a beautiful view of the Vatican. Rooms are nice and modern furnished and have all the facilities. A charming bar and lounge with piano is located on the ground floor.

Hotel Information: The hotel offers a shuttle service (fee required) available to and from Civitavecchia Harbour. Reservation for this service is needed.

Please note: the hotel doesn't accept student groups.

Room Information: Rooms are nice and furnished in a modern style and have all the comforts. A charming bar and lounge with piano is located on the ground floor with a billiard at disposal of the clients. Another new service available for the guest is the Internet point and a small fitness room located on the basement. The hotel has 35 rooms all with private facilities and air conditioning and TV with satellite channels; a safe box is also available. The single rooms are small and cosy, while the double and twin rooms are regular size, around 15 squared metres, with normal size bed. Some rooms can accommodate 3 and 4 people.
The bathrooms are fully furnished with all the necessary amenities. The furniture is simple but efficient. All the walls are painted in pastel colours.

Area Information: Hotel Alimandi is located in Via Tunisi, just a few steps away from the Vatican Museums (Sistina Chapel) and within short walking distance from Saint Peter's Church. The area is very quiet and nice and it is very well connected with the main places of cultural interest in Rome.
The hotel is within few minutes from the nearest underground station that can bring you to many of the places of cultural interest in Rome.

Travel Information: How To Reach Us
Coming from Fiumicino airport: take the train to the Termini train station that leaves every 30 minutes and then follow the instructions below. Free scheduled shuttle service from/to Leonardo da Vinci Airport is available on request.
From Ciampino airport: you can take the shuttle to Termini station and from there take the underground. Shuttle service from/to Ciampino Airport is available on request and with an extra cost.
From Termini station: Take the underground line A and get off at Cipro Musei Vaticani after 6 stops.
From Cipro underground stop: follow Via Candia and the third street is Via Tunisi.
