Canada Transportation
The busiest airport in Canada is Toronto Pearson and all major cities are served by domestic and international airports. The vast distances make air travel the fastest way to reach distant destinations, but many places of Canada can be reached by train as well. An extensive local and long distance bus network is also available. Canada has a wide network of roads and motorways. There are toll roads where you must pay as you drive through toll booths.

History of Canada
English and French settlements were founded in Eastern Canada from the 16th century. The French occupied vast territories, but lost them all to Britain by 1763. Pacific coast colonies were founded after fixing the U.S. border. The colonies united in 1867 to form Canada. Canadian troops took part in World Wars I and II. British rule formally ended in 1982, however Canada remains a constitutional monarchy and a Commonwealth realm.
