Even if you think you have seen it all, this is one theme park and information centre you will be wowed by. Visited by over 10million people a year, EPCOT centre (now EPCOT), is located in Orlando Florida and is made up of two distinct areas; Future world and world showcase.
When you step into EPCOT, the first thing you would probably see would be the EPCOT "leave a Legacy" imaging stations. These amazing stations allow you to capture a photo of you and your friends (or just you) and join thousands of others who've already left their images etched into the Sculpture forever! You can even access your image from home with a special number that's given just for you so you never forget the wonderful day there (plus its something to show off to your friends too).
The first half of the theme park is known as the "Future World" area and is where most of the rides and thrills are located in. Just after the "Leave a legacy" station you'll find the Spaceship earth pavilion and the Universe of Energy where you get to learn about the Universe, use 3D to assemble a human body and go on a crazy adventure ride starring Ellen Degeneres.
If you move on further up you come to the out of this world Mission: SPACE pavilion. This is probably as close as you can get to fighting giant meteors and saving the earth and its great fun for all the wannabe astronauts out there. Choose from a mild adventure to a thrilling one where the success of your mission depends on everyone working as a team.
If you're a big car-racing speed fan, the next area is definitely for you. The Test Track Pavilion promises to bring you on an exciting ride. Strap up and prepare for bumpy terrains, hair-pin turns, 50-degree banked curves and all at 60miles an hour. One of Disney's longest and fastest rides that will drive you wild!
Other future world must-see's include "The Sea's with Nemo and Friends", "Soarin" which allows you to have a birds eye view of some of the most famous places and much more. But we can't forget the "World Showcase" area which is a little more inward. Visit Italy or Paris or dine the Germany Pavilion, head for the United Kingdom or watch China's battles and feel like you've gone around the world in just one day! Now which other theme park do you know of that can provide you with so much in so little time?
