Vacationing in Toronto, Canada
From the epic CN Tower that overlooks the city measuring 1,815 ft. to the mix of old and new architecture that make up the Royal Ontario Museum, Toronto has become a popular tourist destination for tourists and seasoned travelers alike.

Depending on your interests, there are many buildings, monuments, parks and other outdoor attractions to see during your stay in Toronto. Wynchwood Park, for example, includes some of the most unique homes in the city. Old City is one of the most populated neighborhoods in Toronto. Here, you will be able to visit tree lined streets, small shops and local eateries. Walking through different neighborhoods is a great way to see some of the finer architectural details that make each neighborhood unique.

Celebrating the Arts in Toronto

In addition to a variety of architecture, you will also find arts centers, festivals and other events that celebrate dance, theater and music. Toronto has two symphony orchestras, over fifty ballet and dance companies and six opera companies.

The city provides ample space for the cultural arts. Famous buildings such as the Royal Alexandra Theatre, Hummingbird Centre, Roy Thomson Hall and Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts are just a few of the many places where you to see and hear dance and musical performances.

Traveling to Toronto

Most travelers rely on the Toronto Pearson International Airport when they want to visit the city. Booking a flight can be done online or through your travel agent. Since Toronto can experience harsh winters, air travel may be more difficult during the winter months than during the spring or summer.

Once you arrive in Toronto, you can take public transportation if you don't want to rent a car. You can choose to ride the subway, take a bus, streetcar, taxi or walk from one place to another.

Accommodation in Toronto includes large chain hotels, resort hotels such as the Trump International Hotel and Tower, and small locally owned inns and hotels. You can also rent an apartment if you plan to stay in Toronto for a longer period of time.

Toronto is an exciting city that's filled with interesting landmarks, restaurants, museums and theaters. Depending on the length of your vacation, planning ahead is a good idea since you will not be able to see everything the city has to offer during your first trip.
