The UK offers visitors many attractions, these include landmarks, historical castles, theme parks, national parks, beaches, villages and sports. There are a variety of attractions waiting to be discovered, here are some of the Top UK attractions:

Buckingham Palace

Visit Buckingham Palace, the official residence of the queen. Some sections of the palace are open to the public to view. Look out for the flag outside to indicate whether the queen is in residence. Summer is the best time to visit as most of the sections are open to view.

Changing of the Guard

See the changing of the guard, this attraction is a huge hit with visitors to the UK. You can view this both at Buckingham Palace or Windsor Castle.

Windsor Castle

Windsor Castle is one of the official residences of the queen and is located in Windsor. It has a long and interesting history, a tour is offered by numerous operators and is available on most days of the year. The changing of the guard at Windsor Castle ensures visitors come from far and wide to see this great spectacle.

Lake District

The Lake District comprises of a number of lakes that ensures the area has stunning natural beauty. A waking tour is popular with tourists, many tour companies cater for these both full and half day. On route you will find a great selection of restaurants and pubs offering hikers a great meal and liquid refreshments. There are also good hotels in the area catering for all budgets.

Roman Baths

Alton Towers

There are a number of famous rides including Oblivion featuring a 200 foot vertical drop. Along with the theme park there is also a water park and Spa for those that like to take it easy. Alton Towers offers the whole family a fun day out both exhilarating and relaxed.

With over 500 golf courses in Scotland catering for golfers of all abilities, it is little wonder Scotland is a haven for golfing enthusiasts. Golfing packages are available that cater for those of all abilities. The golfing packages can be combined with hotel stays.
